ArtDatabanken works with knowledge about biodiversity in Sweden. Its tasks include collecting, evaluating and storing the most important information on threatened and disadvantaged plants, fungi and animals, assessing the degree and type of threat and compiling red lists.
ArtDatabanken provides and disseminates information on the red-listed species, prepares proposals for measures and initiates research.
