KVINNSAM is part of the Libris database and contains references to books, book chapters, essays and articles. It is an interdisciplinary literature database with Swedish and international gender studies references from the Gothenburg University Library's holdings.
The database contains titles starting with the publishing year 1970, but older material does occur. Titles published between 1958 and 1969 are registered in a card catalogue at KvinnSam - National resource library for gender studies, these references are gradually added to the database.
