WRDS is a web based data management system providing access to a wide range of financial and economic data. The University of Gothenburg subscribes to CRSP and Compustat data as well as BoardEx Academic Research Data for the Europe region. WRDS also provides access to a compilation of free access data sets.
The first time you will need to register for an account.
WRDS will require your University of Gothenburg email address for authentication. Your request to sign up for an account is managed digitally (available during office hours, Monday-Friday) and you will receive a confirmation by email when your account has been approved.
